On the 20th of December, the people of Magdeburg, Germany were unfortunately in for a gruesome experience as a dark BMW drove into the town’s Christmas market. A mother and her child were killed, while more than 60 people were fatally injured in what is now being suspected as a terrorist attack (https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/1hj1xqr/a_toddler_and_her_mother_were_killed_in_a/).
The German police were, however, quick to respond, as evidenced by the immediate arrest of the car’s driver, a 50–year–old Saudi Arabian practitioner who has been living in Germany since 2006 and was identified as a refugee in 2016. The swift action, followed by the closure of the Christmas market soon after, indicated that the situation had been controlled and the safety of the citizens had been restored—hopefully (https://abcnews.go.com/International/germany-christmas-market-attack-latest-us-shocked-incident/story?id=117011586).
Let’s rewind the details of the news once again shall we? A quick Google search about the incident brings up several articles covered by reputed agencies. Interestingly, most, if not all, follow a similar pattern of report – “a car drove into the crowd at a Christmas market”. As if we are talking about an automatic or self-driven car here and the possibility of a driver, or an actual person committing the crime is questionable. Moreover, while the Internet is filled with videos showcasing the terrifying incident – renowned reporting agencies, continue to question its authenticity – why this strange tip-toeing over an incident that appears to be as clear as the day? (https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2024/dec/21/germany-christmas-market-attack-magdeburg-saudi-doctor-arrested-car-crowd)
Things further take an ugly turn when we scrutinize the true identity of the perpetrator and subsequently, how his actions have been reported by mainstream media. According to mainstream media, the incident is equivalent to war and is being labelled as a terror attack. And yet, the Saudi Arabian suspect has been reported to have no Islamist links. What’s even baffling is that the social media activity of the suspect in question reveals a pro-right, almost anti-Islamic background – as seen in his repeated posts concerning the rapid “Islamisation of Germany”. So why would our perpetrator in question plough into millions of harmless people in a Christian market? Where are the allegations of a terror attack coming from? What are we missing here? Are we looking at the bigger picture or are the true details being blurred by the excuse of a terror attack being conducted by a perpetrator from an Islamic country?
What most media houses are missing here is the fact that the suspect is an immigrant – yes, an immigrant. An immigrant who left his home country Saudi Arabia after accusations of serious crimes and rape (https://x.com/Salansar1/status/1870382338040848634/photo/1). An immigrant whose X handle clearly alleges that Germany targets Saudi Arabia asylum seekers, particularly women (https://x.com/Salansar1/status/1870382338040848634/photo/1). So the question arises – why exactly was such an immigrant with a clearly problematic background accepted as a German citizen in 2016, and was allowed to practice on German soil freely? And most importantly, as observed by Elon Musk himself, why is mainstream media so adamant on reporting the Islamophobhic nature of the crime instead of the fact that the perpetrator was an immigrant (https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1870739695950594302).
This sadly brings us to the larger issue of illegal immigration – not just in Germany, but in Europe as a whole. Recent data from the European Union suggest a rising prevalence of 3.6% in homicides and violent crime coinciding with an alarming 1% increase in the population of illegal immigrants – with Germany reporting the highest growth of 25% (https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2022/12/01/europe_shows_a_clear_link_between_immigration_and_crime_-_like_the_one_the_us_seriously_downplays_867625.html). While it’s obvious that not all immigrants are engaged in crime – the correlation cannot be overlooked either. Migrants and refugees are often discriminated against and exploited by the native population, leading to increased rates of not just mental distress, but also decreased socioeconomic opportunities, healthcare, employability and subsequently, homelessness, drug abuse and violent crimes. Sadly, this stark reality is constantly masked by the governments and European media who constantly attribute these crimes to gun violence by unnamed gang members (https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2022/12/01/europe_shows_a_clear_link_between_immigration_and_crime_-_like_the_one_the_us_seriously_downplays_867625.html).
If you’re wondering if our homeland India is free from such atrocities – think again. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, until 30th October 2023, around 2925 illegal migrants were reported to be in India (https://www.mea.gov.in/rajya-sabha.htm?dtl/37467/question+no2143+illegal+immigration+from+india#:~:text=Ministry%20of%20External%20Affairs%20Government%20of%20India&text=Information%20about%20illegal%20agents%20is,notified%20through%20e%2DMigrate%20portal.).
However, this number is likely to be very minute as compared to the actual numbers. Illegal migrants tend to enter the country secretively making it next to impossible to detect them (https://legal.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/litigation/no-accurate-data-on-all-illegal-immigrants-centre-to-sc/105942937).
Sadly, instead of critically investigating the surreptitious nature or overall sociopolitical impact of such immigration, the Indian government has liberally granted citizenship to illegal migrants, particularly Bangladeshis in large numbers (https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/no-nationwide-data-on-illegal-immigrants-centre-tells-sc-101702320170232.html).
This alarming influx of illegal immigration of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas has drastically altered the socio-political landscape of India – and we’re not just talking about crime or homicides here. Migrants entering the country illegally tend to work in low-skilled jobs like construction and domestic work, resulting in a decrease in standard wages, and subsequently, an increase in unrest and distress among the local citizens. This discourse takes a dark turn when politicians completely overlook the need for stricter immigration policies and protection of the local population and revert to taking advantage of such cultural and political unrest via vote-bank politics. Such ignorance fuels existing tensions – becoming a catalyst for political strife, religious conflict and lack of employability or security.
Take for example, the case of West Bengal – a state showcasing the glaring reality of the large influx of illegal Bangladeshis. Here, illegal migrants aren’t just a participant of the state’s economic and labor market, but also an integral source of votes for the ruling party, the TMC (https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/other-states/ensure-only-those-bangladeshis-who-support-tmc-find-place-in-voters-list-bengal-mla-to-workers/article66146143.ece).
This gruesome strategy isn’t just limited to India though. Globally, particularly in Europe, several politicians have leveraged the support of the public on the humanitarian issue of sheltering refugees for winning elections. The larger picture? Citizens are constantly made aware through governmental campaigning of how diversity through “mixed race” communities is beneficial for the country? The outcome? A mixed-race world devoid of any Indigenous or native cultures is easier to manipulate, control and ruled by a One World government (https://x.com/thechronology__/status/1870429472161161450?s=46).
The German Christmas market attack is just the tip of the iceberg. Diluting the issue into a mere speculative terrorist attack combined with the “humanitarian” perspectives of the far left raises nothing but concerning questions for millions of local citizens – both Indian and international alike – regarding their securities and identities. As Germany becomes the focus of a far-reaching social and political issue – the world is forced to wonder – when do the boats stop? And where do we stand with the boats that have already docked by our coastlines?
