01Customer stories & sales proof
Turn a customer’s experience into a story your next buyer can use.
For founders, marketing leads and sales teams selling complex products, specialist services or considered purchases. We investigate the customer’s situation, the choices they made and what changed, then shape the evidence into a clear, usable story.
Useful when
You have a customer worth learning from, but the story is scattered across calls, notes and slides.
A typical agreed scope
- Two interviews with relevant customer and company contacts.
- One written customer story, with claims checked against available evidence.
- A one-page version for sales conversations.
- Three slides addressing buyer questions or objections raised by the story.
The aim
Give buyers a concrete example of the problem, the decision and the experience of using your product or service.
02Cultural research & decision briefs
Understand the context before you decide what to say or make.
For brand, strategy and creative teams exploring a cultural question, developing a campaign or testing the thinking behind an idea. We bring together sources, cultural references and interpretation around the decision in front of you.
Useful when
Your team needs a grounded point of view on a theme, a conversation or a cultural shift before moving forward.
A typical agreed scope
- A focused research question and a defined source base.
- A source-led brief with references and relevant cultural examples.
- A synthesis of patterns, tensions and open questions.
- Working recommendations tied to your decision, with limitations made clear.
Interviews can be included when separately scoped. The method and evidence base will be stated in the brief.
The aim
Give your team a considered starting point for a creative or strategic decision.
03Story development
Find the shape of the story you are trying to tell.
For producers, filmmakers and writers commissioning development support for a film or series. We work with the material you already have to examine its central idea, characters, structure and cultural context.
Useful when
A premise, treatment or draft has potential, but you need a clear view of what to develop next.
A typical agreed scope
- A close read of the agreed premise, treatment or script material.
- A review of character, theme, structure and relevant context.
- Prioritised development notes with questions and suggested directions.
- A working session to discuss the notes and the next draft.
Treatment development or rewriting can be scoped separately.
The aim
Help the team make deliberate choices about the next version of the story.

How work starts
A clear brief. A considered process.
-
Start with the question.
Tell us who the work is for, what it needs to achieve and what material you already have.
-
Agree the shape of the work.
We define the deliverables, inputs, fee, timing, review rounds and approval responsibilities before work begins.
-
Research, develop and refine.
The work moves through the agreed stages, with focused feedback and a clear final handover.
Project enquiry
Tell us what you are working on.
A few useful details are enough to start: the audience, the decision or story, and the help you need.
Questions
- Do I need a finished brief?
- No. Tell us what you are trying to achieve, who the work is for and what you already have. We can use that to define a workable scope.
- How are fees and timing decided?
- They depend on the material, access, research depth and deliverables. These are agreed for the project before work starts.
- What about feedback and revisions?
- The project scope sets out the review stages and included revision rounds. Further formats, research or substantial changes can be discussed as additional work.
- What about rights, credit and confidentiality?
- Include any requirements in your enquiry without sharing sensitive material. Intended use, ownership, credit and confidentiality are matters to agree in the project scope before work starts.
